Francis Achanyileke, PMHNP-BC, DNP

Dr. Francis Achanyileke is a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Maryland, with more than six years of experience in Mental Health, in child/adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Francis provides care to patients seeking mental health in relation to diagnoses and symptoms management. Also for patients who need help in managing their symptoms through medication, therapy, or lifestyle adjustments, and teaching. Dr. Francis's major goals are to reduce the severity and frequency of mental health symptoms and to enhance daily functioning, overall well-being, and the ability to engage in meaningful activities. His specialty is mental health, which brings greater peace, purpose, and fulfillment to his patients' lives. With PM Kidz Plus, he achieves fulfillment by actively developing a treatment plan that helps patients make choices aligned with their values and goals. As a PMHNP-BC, DNP, Dr. Francis has gained a deeper understanding of his patients' thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. He works toward personal growth and development, fostering open-minded discussions, addressing concerns, and providing non-judgmental support for their mental health. Outside of work, he enjoys  reading, writing, and traveling with family and friends.
